More Complaining from British Holiday Makers

You may recall reports of some of the downright bizarre complaints made by British holiday makers to their holiday reps. These included one tourist complaining that the fish in the sea had startled her children and another blaming the hotel for her pregnancy due to having been provided with a double bed rather than twin singles.
It looks like Brits abroad just can’t stop complaining. Benidorm holiday reps have reported that British holiday makers constantly complain, many appearing to be unhappy with being abroad.
One older gent grumbled that the ‘Spaniards are everywhere, you can’t get away from them’.Even after he’d been reminded of how he was on holiday in Spain this particular gentleman then said that the least they could do was speak in English.
Another complained that all the road signs were in Spanish and another complained that all the restaurant menus were in Spanish.
Spanish food and drink are a constant source of complaints from British tourists. One person complained that the seafood platter was ‘too fishy’ and didn’t come wiht chips and another who complained that the Sangria had made them so drunk that they danced on the table.
The unforgiving, hot Spanish sun is another reason why many British tourists like to complain. Many British holidaymakers are under the mistaken belief that its up to the tour company to ensure that they protect themselvese with sunblock. Holiday reps often have to deal with bright red and sore holiday makers who get drunk and fall asleep in the sun on their first day without having applied adequate sun block.
But one holiday maker complained that the sun rose too early in Spain and another grumbled that the sunlight was too bright and it hurt her children’s eyes.
One woman complained that the bikinis worn by some of her fellow hotel guests were too revealing and that her husband spent the whole holiday staring at scantily clad girls.
So what is the weirdest complaint you have heard while on holiday?
