Halloween Party Food

The most disgusting Halloween party food that I have come across in up to date memory is the Kitty Litter Cake.  Black moggies are related to Halloween.  Pussies’do their business’ in kitty litter boxes.  The mix was inevitable.  Here is how to make a fairly, actually gross and nauseating Halloween party food :

* one spice or German chocolate cake mix
* 1 white cake mix
* two massive packages vanilla instant pudding mix, prepared
* 1 large package vanilla sandwich cookies
* Green food colourising
* twelve tiny Tootsie Roll candies

* one new kitty litter pan
* one new kitty litter pan liner
* one new pooper scooper

Prepare cake mixes and bake according to directions.  Prepare pudding mix and chill until prepared to assemble.  Crumble white sandwich cookies, and put aside all but about 1/4 cup.

To the 1/4 cup of cookie crumbs, add a few drops of green food colour and mix till completely coloured.  Crumble cooled cakes into a large bowl.  Mix with half the leftover white cookie crumbs and the chilled pudding.

Line a new, clean kitty litter box.  Put the cake/pudding/cookie mixture into the litter box.

Heat three Tootsie Rolls until they are soft and plastic.  Shape ends so they are not blunt, curving a bit.  Repeat with 3 more Tootsie rolls, burying them in the mixture.  Splatter the other half of cookie crumbs over top.  Scatter the green cookie crumbs gently on top of everything ?this is meant to look like the chlorophyll in kitty litter.

Heat three Tootsie Rolls in the microwave until virtually liquified.  Scrape them on top of the cake ; splatter with cookie crumbs.  Spread the remaining Tootsie Rolls OTT.

For a very gross final touch, take one Tootsie Roll and heat until moldable, hang it over the side of the kitty litter box, sprinkling it gently with cookie crumbs.  Place the box on a sheet of newspaper and sprinkle some of the cookie crumbs around for an even more sickening effect!
