Dancing Holidays are a bit different and fun

When you think about the kind of thing you would normally do on holiday, it’s safe to say that for most people dancing wouldn’t be the first thing they’d say. Most people use their holiday as a chance to chill out and relax by the pool, not to wear themselves out learning new dance moves. But dancing holidays are increasingly popular, and are a great opportunity to do something a bit different, get a good workout and really enjoy yourself while you’re at it.

Not so long ago most people would probably never have dreamed of taking dancing lessons, but things are beginning to change and a large range of dancing styles are becoming increasingly popluar. This is probably in no small part thanks to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, one of the most widely watched shows on television over the last few years that unfailingly pulls in thousands of viewers every week during its run. Watching celebrities start with no more dancing skills than you or I become experts in such a short time has inspired people to take on the challenge themselves and demand for dance lessons has risen significantly.

Learning something new like dancing can also be a great activity for family holidays, with kids becoming more enthusiastic about dance after the high profile success of dance groups like ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winners Diversity and finalists Flawless. TV shows like these have helped to bring dance back into popular culture, so taking on the challenge with the whole family is something that everyone will enjoy.

The best thing about themed holidays such as dancing holidays is that they won’t break the bank and you don’t have to travel abroad to have fun on your holiday. UK leisure resorts like TLH in Torquay offer a range of great deals on their holiday packages including special dancing, golf and bowls holidays as well as loads of family entertainments, games and activities.
