We travelled to Bodrum Turkey for month of September 2008. while there, my companion suffered an accident involving hospitalisation. a hip and pelvis operation and an extended stay of approximately 4 weeks.
We have nothing but praise for the way Staysure and underwriters Mondial, handled the situation.They took care of the whole case in conjunction with the Bodrum Universal Hospital. Including repatriation flights (accompanied by a nurse), ambulance services and transfers to the British hospital for further treatment. She is still recovering at home,3 months later.
After many years travelling, this was the first (and I hope only) occasion we have needed to claim. “Our insurers came up trumps” We shall certainly try to use them the next time we travel. Their rates are reasonable and their services were exceptional when the chips were down. Bill Rendell.
